Review on 📺 Tripp Lite B136-101 Component Video with Stereo Audio Extender over Cat5/Cat6 - Full HD Transmitter and Receiver, Black by Courtney Knight

Bought, tested and put away a few months ago. Just got it working yesterday. I added a small media center to my wife's remodeled reading room with the hardware on the bottom cabinet and the HDTV on the top shelf. Wiring runs behind the wall through nice looking audio/video boxes. After adding the Blu-ray player, I found that I was missing two slots because I planned to use HDMI for all devices. But the TV I found only has one HDMI, so I had to use a cable box component. This product was perfect. Because only a few feet of cable is used behind the wall between the top and bottom AV boxes, there is no noticeable signal degradation. Clear video and clear sound. No hum or noise. This product saved me the hassle of re-doing my AV junction boxes and instead of having two short slots I now have two extra slots! The absence of external power supplies is a big plus.
