I installed wired lighting under a closet in our previous house so I knew pretty much what I was getting myself into with this lighting kit. Here are some of the features I liked: * Push-in splice blocks included with each power terminal block * Matching screw terminals included for strain relief * Can be mounted with a "Through Screw" and then use connectors instead of those complicated hidden screws. Lugs (hanging the light on screw heads) * Link plugs are included for a continuous light effect under the cabinet * Seller sells different sizes so we can customize the size of our linked set. * Three options for the "color temperature" of the light, which is great because we can choose our preferences based on what looks good with our countertops and decor. We ended up going for the "warmest" settings (although my 8-year-old son is very happy to switch them to a more blue and white color). The diffuser excellently handles the effect of any point source, good diffusion. We chose to install the lights in the center of the cabinet (about 10cm from the wall) to ensure the right balance of light on the wall and countertop. We use a dimmer with our lights, which work great. The only thing that surprised me was how warm the bottom of the closet at the top gets because of the installed light. I assumed that low power LEDs would produce much less heat, but I think the onboard transformer is to blame.
