I thought the fabric would be either silky and slippery or soft and cozy. They're pretty stiff and prickly - not terrible, but not very comfortable. They're also very skin tight and, like women's tights, they gather a little at the crotch, so you may need to wear them regularly. My husband doesn't really like them because they're bulky and his jeans don't fit well over them. I think they are meant to be worn alone or as a base layer under baggy pants like sweatpants, cargo pants or other athletic wear. They look stylish but impractical for the average person.
