One major downside to these seats is unfortunately enough to negate all the positives. I don't know of any other seat that fits our Pelican Solos, so if we went back we would be out of seats. You'll have to buy parts to install these seats, but it's not expensive and it's not very difficult to figure out. The problem is the zipper on the back. He's in a terrible position because the pressure on him when someone sits unzips every time and then he loses the ability to stay upright and the whole thing slides forward. I don't know why it isn't just sewn together and reinforced because it will eventually tear the fabric as well. We will have to change it and then hopefully it will work better. Besides, it's a great idea, relatively easy to install and convenient. I would give five stars if that were fixed.
