Works great. I use it to walk my dog and get him to listen when given commands. He is a German Shepherd and works great. I have to turn him up to maximum intensity as his fur is so dense and he doesn't get scared when his fur gets in the way. I always warned him and then gave him a beep and he listened. But if the collar isn't on, he won't listen to commands until he hears a beep. I started shocking him lightly as I gave the command so he could associate my command with the shock and not the beeps. Now he listens to orders, knowing there will be a shock soon after. It works.
