User-friendly: Manual fuel pumps

I liked how it worked to refuel vehicles and generators with an old fuel tank with a cracked nozzle. I bought a couple of these for viscous liquids and the 3/4 tube ones worked best for this but didn't fit the necks of the bottles I used. It was difficult to start/prime with this type of fluid. It is clear that they are delivered rolled up and should be spread out in a warm place or in the sun. The tube is still a bit stiff even after a few weeks, so handling is sometimes a bit awkward.
