The heater lasts for years!
This is the second time I have bought this heater for my red-eared slider and this heater will last for years! I only bought a new one because too much turtle poop was stuck to it from vacuuming the bottom of the tank. Pure water service. Now I've sucked it up to the tank and there's a lot less deposit build up on the heater.
