Review on Cobra Road Scout Dash Cam and Radar Detector: HD 1080P, WiFi, Bluetooth, iRadar Compatible, EZ Mag Mount by Alan Massey

I wanted to add a dash cam because I drive a lot, but I decided to add another device to the windshield. Reviewing all the options I came across this one which was both radar and dash cam in one and I got a lot of false alarms on my previous radar detector so it was definitely time for an upgrade. I had it in my car for about 3 days and the GPS function works pretty well and installation was easy as I had my old radar installed and luckily the connectors were the same I just had to use the bracket that came with Cobra. . I have to admit I was worried about setup as my last one didn't require an app but once I downloaded it it was so easy. I spent five minutes going through all the options and really liked that I can change the color to match my dash lights (sounds silly but it makes me happy). Another nice feature I wasn't aware of was the ability to update the device in my garage. I saw an option to connect to Wi-Fi so I did and suddenly I needed an update and it updated at the touch of a button. The dash cam is also easy to set up with the app and the picture quality is amazing even at night, I just hope I never have to use it.
