Went on a 3 week van trek. Both screens made it easy to work on the road and in the van. With 3 screens at home, it was nice to have 2 screens when I was out with my laptop. Has worked great since I first plugged it in. Nothing had to be downloaded. However, I made a mistake in placing the magnets so the screen is slightly to the side of the magnets depending on which side I want the screen on. So be triple sure before you attach the magnets. It's really nice to be able to flip the monitor so the extra screen is on the left or right. When I don't need the monitor, I can plug it back in or detach it entirely from the magnets and put it back in my laptop bag. This increases the weight of the laptop. I used it as an extra screen when I got home. I bought the version with a stand so I can put it on my desk or set it aside when I don't want it on my laptop. Very convenient for traveling and working from home. Highly recommended. It feels a little flimsy and I'm afraid of breaking the sliding mechanism, but so far so good. I just know I have to be a little more careful. Shame it was touchscreen as my laptop is touchscreen. I looked at several other screens that had touch capabilities and didn't have as good a view. So I thought I'd buy this one at a great price.
