Review on LAUNCH X431 PRO3S+: Upgraded Ver. of X431 V PRO, Bi-Directional Scan Tool with OE-Level Full System Diagnostic Scanner, Key Programming, ECU Coding, AutoAuth for FCA SGW - 2 Years Free Update by Scott Clayton

This review is for anyone buying a car scan tool but my first comment should be this one for those of you who are nervous Buying product as I was because country of origin is China and not USA. Let me just say that I dug in for you and honestly you will NOT be disappointed with this scan tool. I also contacted tech support and got a response that same day in the evening which was refreshing. Time, but let's face it, basic scanners take so long to find error codes that I decided to buy a replacement. I spent about a month watching YouTube videos and was sold to an Autel scanner which I ended up getting from Revane. Well, it worked fine on some cars, but completely failed on Lexus cars. I contacted Autel support and they said they don't support it. This was a real shame as I was looking to replace the Lexus Techstream that runs on my laptop but I figured it would fit. Well my friend had a Launch x431 mini and it worked on Lexus cars. I shop with confidence from Revain for one reason, I had to return it to get the Launch :) Now for the Launch X431 Pro3S+, I've only scratched the surface with this tool but so far this tool has really impressed me. I have used it on a 2004 Ford F150 Lariat, 2004 Lexus LS 430, 2008 Mazda RX8, 2016 Toyota Corolla and 2019 Honda Odyssey. I used Intelligent Diagnoses and it automatically recognized all cars except Lexus. On the Lexus I used local diagnostics and was able to do everything the Lexus Techsteam software did. I mean anything that was amazing. All bidirectional tasks! As an example I've attached 4 pictures, one of which shows the data from a bank 1 catalytic converter that was shot on a Lexus and came out as code P0420. In another snapshot with tabs, health reports, deleted reports and logged data, you can go back and see all your data. I'm just a handyman who likes to fix cars on the side, it will totally pay off. Time is money. Finally a tablet is really good! The hardware is solid and fast with a premium protective case. Also, there are so many hardware adapters that I'll probably never use, but hey, if you ever need them, they'll be there. lol Oh and the packaging was great!
