You get what you pay for. They are good for applying waxes, dressings, polishes and whatever you apply. But after washing they don't get completely clean and I've had them for about a year now and I've washed them once or twice and they started falling apart and I could see the foam in them. Having used them with a bandage or polish I consider this pad simply dedicated to this product. The softness of the pads will change after washing. So if you want to buy polishing pads more than once this isn't the product for you but if you want to polish the inside or even the outside they are good.
