I was looking for something I could use as a small table-top book shelf for my office at work. While searching through traditional milk crates, I found this product. Because it is collapsible, it made it much easier to transport to work and carry up the 3 flights of stairs to my office. Once there, I opened it up and filled it with reference books. The next day I brought in the second crate. They work perfectly! Sturdy enough for the heavy weight of books.I left the third crate at home, and soon found a great use for it too! The liter-size water bottles I get at the grocery store are sold singly, and they always fall/roll all over the place in shopping bags. So now I bring the crate to the store with me. Once I get to the beverage aisle, I open up the crate and fill it with a dozen liter-bottles. Ta-Da, no more unruly water bottles!The crate is so easy to use -- just 2 or 3 seconds to open up and snap the sides into place -- and then it is almost as sturdy as a standard milk crate. Great purchase.I would definitely buy this again.
