Review on Ottomanson SAR6831 20X59 Kitchen Runner Orange by Stuart Sugden

I really like the rug but it's very thin, I wanted something around the kitchen sink so I wanted it to absorb a little water and I see it's not very absorbent and because it's thin , but not also very soft. My daughter is learning to walk, she staggers and falls when she tries. Sometimes when I do the dishes the floor gets slippery because the water falls down and she tries to get up at that point and now because of the carpet she is unlikely to fall down because the water falls on the carpet and like that this surface not slippery. It's been 7-8 months since purchase, I've washed the rug a couple of times, it's holding up well.
