At first, I didn't shoot at all with the camera. like the picture. with a telephoto lens, new horizons of photography open up. The lens is large and heavy. In conjunction with the D300s, almost seven hundred kilos! Sometimes AF is smeared at the long end in difficult conditions (the object is against a highly contrasting background, insufficient lighting conditions). There is not much loss of sharpness at f/5.6 at the long end. It is solved by covering the diaphragm. Likes a lot of light. Good as a portrait. In general, I am satisfied with the lens. Bought used, but everything seems to be working.
