It works well enough so I kept it and have no complaints for the first 24 hours of use. This is an improvement on the suction cup mount. But I'm not blown away by how easy it was to install, nor by my impression of the build quality, nor by the information provided about what it will and won't do. But for $10 and five minutes of work, that's enough. First the good: 1) Works. It is currently attached to the rear view mirror mount on my 2018 Ford Escape with the Anker Roav A1 camera attached and it works. 2) It seems stable enough that I don't notice any shaking when driving on Michigan roads. The less good is: 1) Difficult to install behind the mirror with tiny nuts and bolts, but doable. 2) It does not fit the Anker Roav A1 camera as is. I had to file about a millimeter on each side of the mounting rail and also slightly sand the slot on the camera to widen it a bit to fully accommodate the mounting rail. But I got it working, and while it doesn't snap into the camera mount like a standard mount, it does hold tight if you're not too aggressive with a file in the slot on top of the camera. It would be nice to know that the mount choices aren't compatible, but for ten bucks I took a chance and it still worked. Just ordered a second one for my 2008 Honda Odyssey.
