Purolator One is always in the top 5 when used with synthetic oil. This filter is designed to capture 99.5% of contaminants and holds 15 grams of dirt. This is good for synthetic oil use up to 8000 miles. If you want to go up to 15,000 miles, use the Purolator Boss filter, which holds 27 grams. If you use mineral oil and change the oil every 3000-5000 miles, buy something cheaper.
