I ordered these a few days after buying my new home and have been using them for a little over 4 months now. They worked great for 3-4 weeks and then became intermittent. I thought these were just cheap batteries and ordered new Energizer batteries. After the replacement they continued to work fine for a few weeks and now they sometimes work again and others don't. The original artisan remote in my kitchen that came with the house still works great with the batteries that were already in it. I will not buy them again nor recommend them. The only thing they did right was the installation, which was very simple but is as much a part of the opening device as the remote control. I really don't want to pay full price for additional craft remotes because the price is outrageous. I'll probably just try to get a new opener instead which is very disappointing as those work fine in my garage but I need extra remotes.
