I ride Share platforms and have struggled to find a mount that works well for it. It gets hot in the summer so the vent mounts don't work properly as the phone then blocks almost all vents facing the driver and/or the left side of the rear seat. I tried the CD mount. It was terrible. It bounced and vibrated like crazy. This vibrates a bit depending on the road surface, but is quite stable overall. I have a large magnet in my phone case so I had no problem keeping the phone in place. It only dropped once and maybe I just didn't center it on the mount. Sometimes I have to tighten the knob just behind the phone or the phone will turn a little crooked, but I don't have to do that very often. I usually keep the smaller magnet that comes with the car in my car. So if I travel with someone or rent my car, they can use this magnet as well. The bracket came off the dash only once, but that day the temperature was over 100 degrees Fahrenheit. I've just wiped and re-taped the dash and it won't come off anymore. Just make sure the dashboard is clean before attempting to attach the suction cup. This is one I highly recommend. My only wish is that the drop arm could be lengthened 2" or 3" or replaced with a longer one. When it's hot and the sun is beating down on the phone, the phone will heat up and turn off until it cools down. So being able to lower it lower in front of the air conditioning vent would be great. The way it's made (see photo for reference) it sticks out of the vent far enough so it doesn't block airflow, but still benefits from airflow and stays cool. Regardless, I am very happy with this purchase.
