Bought as a wireless outdoor repeater/extender. There are many cheaper/better options from major brands for outdoor wired access points, but this is the only outdoor wireless extender I could find. It was very easy to install as a WiFi extender, but the performance was unacceptable. Internet speeds dropped from over 200 Mbps to less than 3 Mbps when connected to a repeater a few feet from the router, and dropped rapidly when removed. It was not a good solution to connect to my wifi camera. Came back and updated to AC1200. That works fine. Can approach 20 Mbps near the repeater and closer to 3 Mbps at 100 feet from the camera.
