If you don't read the rest of this review just know that this really is one of the best bikes I have ever bought! You will not regret it, buy now! I bought a 16 inch bike for my 4 year old niece's birthday. She loved it and accepted it immediately. The bike was very easy to assemble. Assembly took about 15 minutes. The bike consists of 3 main components and you do not need any additional tools to assemble it. Every detail fell together without guesswork. The instructions were simple and clear. paragraph, but descriptive enough for me to follow. The only part that was a bit difficult for me was putting the steering wheel back in place. I'm sure I could have done it with a little more effort, but I left it to my husband to latch it quickly. I liked the easy and quick assembly and I'm not the kind of person that usually does that in our bike is made of high quality materials, even the plastic straps on the handlebars aren't the typical cheap plastic straps that usually fly off when cycling. You'll need some serious tinkering with these to try and demolish. The paint seems very durable and will keep the bike looking good for a long time. The paint color is a little bluer than turquoise, as indicated in the description, but still very aesthetic. One thing I liked about this bike more than others I've had for my own kids is what made me lean towards this bike. On my niece it's a handle on the back of the seat. I know how difficult it can be to bend down and try to balance a child trying to learn to ride a bike without training wheels. This will help her a lot when her time comes. What I also liked is that you can easily adjust the seat height. You simply pull out the safety lever and adjust the height quickly. Tools are not required at all. Overall I am very happy with this bike and wish I could have one for my kids!
