My eldest son (17 years old) built this for his little brother (5 years old) when he arrived and put it together very quickly. My 5 year old rides without training wheels and this is a good bike. The ones we bought at Walmart have always had issues with chain slippage, but the old adage always applies: you really do get what you pay for. When the weather warms up, we look forward to riding this bike for many miles.

We bought this for our daughter's second birthday. I wasn't sure about the size but it was perfect for our tall 2 year old and I think it will fit most bike ready 2-3 year olds. When we received the bikes we didn't open them because they were a gift. After opening the gift, the return period has expired by 1 day. We could not return the item.
