I have used these to replace the 60w halogen bulbs in my dining room lights. I was hoping they were brighter. At first I was disappointed BUT when I replaced the dimmer everything changed. I took out a high-end Lutron dimmer and plugged in a smart dimmer from TP-Link Kasa. Suddenly the bulbs are MUCH brighter and the brightness control is excellent. So make sure you have a dimmer that is actually compatible with LED dimming.
