Worked great for my 2005 E46 M3
I have a 2005 E46 M3 and this tool was way cheaper than other sites, the quality is great and everything that is included works great! With my E46 M3, the timing was perfect. With this tool I was able to replace all chain guides. I would recommend getting this tool rather than buying expensive ones from other sites that don't even come with all the special tools that this one comes with.
