Working Tailgate in Shocks, Struts and Suspension

I finally have a working tailgate on the back of my 2001 Jeep Cherokee. They weren't that difficult to install. I only had minor problems with the first one because I didn't know how to install it. rzunimag. I took out the metal pin at the bottom and put it back in with an effort. I even deformed it a bit so that instead of snapping into place and leaving a small gap, it stays inside. On the other hand, I pulled the pin almost to the end without removing it. Then it returned to its place. With both shock absorbers my tailgate now works very well. It opens quickly and closes with a bang. I'm so tired of using alternative methods to hold the tailgate up, but now I'm glad it's working again. It was a cheap way to make the Jeep a little more enjoyable.
