I bought these adapter rings because I needed them and I'm replacing a lot of my finds with stainless steel. I have this thing: if I take the time to make a necklace, I don't want it to fall apart after a few wears. Once you get used to stainless steel it will be difficult for you to switch back as stainless steel is more difficult to manipulate to close the rings properly and I tend to crush softer rings until I change my mind. It doesn't specify what type of stainless steel they are, but they don't tarnish or blacken like some do. I really like these jump rings and will buy them again from the same seller.
