We recently bought a new coffee maker with a thermograph. Filling the tank with a carafe is more difficult than with a glass jug - we could easily read the number of cups on the side. The thermos is also heavier, which causes pain in arthritic wrists. So I bought this plastic jug to measure how many cups we need for our coffee. I assumed that since it was made for pouring water into a coffee maker, it must have "cups" as one of the dimensions. Guilty. Measurements in ml and ounces. And the tag is very, VERY small, the same color as the plastic, and printed on the inside of the item, making it almost impossible to read. (I had to hold it up to the light to see them). But I'm disappointed.
