Review on LeapFrog Violets Learning Lights Remote by Doug Nelson

We bought this for our 10 month old girl when she was starting to learn what our real TV remote does. I'll break the bad news first by saying that this toy barely distracted her from our real remote control, but she really enjoyed playing with it whenever she could! I won't pretend that the music and noise this thing makes doesn't squeak at times. But I will say that thanks to all the repetitive songs and games, our daughter really learned to count and sing. This thing is also built like a tank. 20 months after I bought it, it's still intact with almost no visible scratches, cracks or broken parts. This is despite the fact that one of our daughter's favorite "games" kept dropping her on the hard floor in front of the security gate. Dynamic, this is a great gift for your baby.
