Just to confirm this actually fits my Dyson v6 Top Dog DC58 handheld and then fits my standard wall mounted vacuum. FINALLY I can use my standard brush and upholstery tool. I've loved my various Dysons over the years, but some of their attachments are just too cluttered (redesigned) and just don't fit in many places. This is especially true for the dust brush and upholstery nozzles that come with almost every vacuum cleaner. To be clear, I also recently bought an extension hose for my handheld so I can get into places where the attachments on the handheld are blocking it. Now I can attach a standard adapter to the end of the hose and then add a regular brush or upholstery tool to get into nooks and crannies, especially in my car, closets, under things, etc.
