One star reason. Two phones died after a power outage. My mother lives in a nursing home. In less than a month there have been two incidents where the power went out but then came back on. Nursing homes have generators. But in both cases the phone was off and not working. Bought my first cell phone. She had it for several weeks. Everything is fine until the first shutdown. Bought another phone and less than a week later a similar incident killed the second phone. Now she has a simple phone with big buttons that works great, buys from a big store, has no problems and doesn't die when it crashes. Not sure if nursing homes allow surge protector strips, maybe that would help.
