Flash Glue Gun!

Many crafts and projects require a large amount of hot glue. The typical glue gun is a wall wart that takes longer to heat up than microwave a frozen turkey (PS, trust me, not a good idea). And of course you need it as soon as possible while carefully keeping some items in the shape you want. Not to mention the number of times I've left it on so it melts on my desk, burns lots of plastic and wood, and never stays upright no matter how you set it up. Seriously, I'm surprised my workshop hasn't burned down as many times as I forgot my old-school glue gun. So after my wife's doll collection "accidentally" burned down, there was an accident that killed at least 20 of these nightmare-inducing dolls that I had to refurbish. Originally I wanted to connect a different plug to the wall unit, but much more reliable and advanced. The problem, however, is that you're wall-bound, so it's simply impossible to move and unplug it. So I opted for rechargeable. I liked this one the best because it actually stands on its own and doesn't fall off, not to mention that it's a lot easier to grab something that's upright than it is flat off the table. It takes a good 10-15 seconds to heat up, but after that you're spot on and can glue the building together if you want. I was initially skeptical about the battery life, but I've used it all day for a few days and it works with no issues. There's really only 2 things I don't like about this setup: firstly, I can't tell how much charge is left since it doesn't have an actual charge percentage indicator, and secondly, I can no longer justify "random" incidents. at my wives were dolls. However, I laid the groundwork for a possible cave tour where just not all dolls make it out of the cave. However, I can say that she is suspicious of the idea and may need to find something better.
