I thought I could put my range finder in the side pockets but they are useless. I'm not sure you could actually fit in the side mesh other than a pair of gloves. The back pocket is misleading. It seems deeper than it really is. I think you could put some binocular cleaner in there and maybe wipes. Some mouth turkey calls are possible. Like other reviewers, I found the straps awkward to put on. When storing layers, you have to constantly readjust. If you are wearing gloves, you may find it difficult to open and close the case. Maybe hard isn't the right word. But you have to look away from what you're looking at and then focus on the strap on the case. I think they can be sold to some bird watchers but aren't very effective or worth the money if you're looking to add this to your hunting arsenal.
