We bought these for two reasons: they are insanely cheap and they could have same day delivery in our city. There were no speakers, but there was an audio output. When this setup was no longer needed, they moved to my main computer, replacing the klipsch 2.1 suite. I know that's a big downgrade! Nothing happened to the clip set, they just had another location where their high volume and bass were really used. When I play on my computer it's usually multiplayer and I use headphones and speakers to physically separate the audio. I don't want/don't want loud game audio, just loud enough that I can hear it through my headset. These speakers do the job perfectly. The sound quality is clear and the speakers take up very little space. Defects? Volume control on the power cord. Looking at the design it becomes clear why there is no dial on one of the speakers; they are identical twins. Obviously they are made on the SAME production line and any two speakers are then mated together and shipped as a pair. The logo is embossed on the same side of the speakers despite the asymmetric design. That's one reason they cost less than a meal at Arby's, and if that bothers you, Revain has a range of speakers that are very similarly priced and feature a symmetrical design.
