Best backpack I've ever owned

I've tried several backpacks but none of them have reached the level of perfection before! I'm a short person prone to neck/shoulder pain so I need a lightweight backpack and shoulder straps that fit my short torso without cutting into my neck. The length of this backpack is just right so it sits on my hip. The straps are quite adjustable so I can shorten them and still use the chest strap in the right place without crossing my neck. The backpack weighs about a pound and may feel heavy when I lift it by hand, but when I hang it on my back the weight is distributed in a way that makes it feel very light. I carry heavy photographic gear with me and long days in the field have always ended in neck and shoulder pain, but I've never experienced that with this backpack after wearing it and walking on it for 5-6 hours at a time. a backpack so it stands upright and doesn't collapse when you put it down. It has thick back padding with some ventilation so it doesn't rest entirely on my back and allows air to circulate. I'm still hot on summer days, but it's really nice when I'm not sweating down my back. The straps are strong but flexible and padded, but not so strong that they don't bend easily over the shoulders. Using a chest strap will help tighten them to avoid rubbing your arms. The three main pockets are spacious and the largest has an internal divider for extra storage. There are three small pockets on the front, a stretch pocket on one side for a water bottle and a zipped pocket on the other side where I put a raincoat (not included). I use a regular 40 liter raincoat that works. goes well with this backpack as it slides over the carry handle and the structure of the bag keeps it in place. Although the backpack is waterproof, it's not 100% waterproof, so I recommend buying a rain cover. Having said that, I have found that when worn in pouring rain, moisture collects at the bottom of the backpack. This happens with almost all backpacks so it's just something to be aware of. If you want to hike in rainy weather, you can add a plastic rain poncho to cover yourself and your backpack. For normal everyday use, this is most likely not a problem. The zippers are good quality and easy to use - they don't snag or snag on the fabric. I really like the double zippers on the main compartments so you can zip in any direction. I really can't say anything bad about this backpack, except maybe the chest strap buckle, which could have been better (or a whistle) but that's about it. I've been using this backpack since the day it arrived and I love it. The green color is prettier in person and I really like it. I thought I would stand out in a crowd with a green backpack but my friend saw it and wanted one so now we have matching backpacks lol.
