This memory worked perfectly in my build. I didn't have to mess with the BIOS settings and it booted the first time. I am using an Intel BOXDH67CLB3 motherboard with an I52500K processor. Some reviews have said that this memory is not configured properly and will only run at 1333 unless they configure the BIOS: it should run at 1333 unless your processor natively supports a 1600 speed memory bus. Most processors do not natively support a 1600 memory speed, most processors support 1333. So plan for the memory to grow at your processor's memory bus speed, up to 1600 in the case of this memory, but most processors support it at a 1333 bus speed. Memory modules have large heat sinks. I like it because it gives me more room to cool storage so they have less heat stress. Momory's dimensions do not interfere with the standard CPU cooler. You can even use a really tall CPU cooler, but if the cooler is wider than the standard cooler in the first 2 inches from the motherboard, you will have trouble installing the memory or CPU cooler. conventional heatsinks (low profile type). It is, they work great for me and I'm very happy with the sheer amount of extra storage.
