This has worked great for me, but it's still not an easy task. Significant force is required to pull the strap over the posts on the tool. On my Dyson model I had to replace the clutch assembly so the replacement straps were not practical. Dismantling the clutch to change the belts is not an easy task, since it is not intended for service. However, the presence of this tool allowed me to remove the old roller brush. I don't know how else to do it. This makes the vacuum cleaner work like new!
