Well made and works great with a warm knife or slightly softened butter

The knife is well made. But to use it on a cold butter stick, you have to hold the butter stick to dig into the stick to collect a portion of butter. It works well if the knife is first heated in hot water (it's quick, but it's definitely an extra step) OR if the oil is softer than straight cold from the fridge.
