Wouldn't do it again

Didn't work like I hoped. Maybe it was a certain temperature to make it work the way I imagined. Not too cold, not soft yet.

Great Butter Knife: Butter Knife

This is the perfect utensil for spreading butter without having to wait for it to soften. I can use it to cut thin slices that are easy to spread on my bread without tearing the bread into pieces.

Great to use when baking.

I use butter instead of margarine and it's harder to spread cold. I've also used it to bake cookies and the cold butter is much easier to mix with the flour when mashed with a knife. I love it. Many Thanks

Works Like A Charm is the best flatware

My husband eats bread at every meal and loves ice hard butter. I might want to put the same oil on vegetables or potatoes but I can't put it on to save my life! This handy dish lets me cut butter into delicious chunks that thaw almost instantly and are easier to spread. This is how we stay married. To attempt!

Well made and works great with a warm knife or slightly softened butter

The knife is well made. But to use it on a cold butter stick, you have to hold the butter stick to dig into the stick to collect a portion of butter. It works well if the knife is first heated in hot water (it's quick, but it's definitely an extra step) OR if the oil is softer than straight cold from the fridge.
