Review on Standard Motor Products Sensor ALS115 by Joseph Cvetkovic

Revainrating 4 out of 5

almost the same as the OEM sensor.

At first my original wheel speed sensors worked fine but they need to be removed to pull the axle shafts and on a 22 year old car this requires a hammer, chisel and punch so I have more for those Wheel speed sensors output as for the bearings I had to replace. These parts are Bosch, made in Germany like the originals and have Ford part numbers printed on the cables. BUT they are not identical. Mounting tabs on originals are 8mm thick. These are 15mm thick. The original screws are 19 mm long, so with these gauges you only get a few threads. Assuming you have the same ones as mine you will need to go to a hardware store and buy some 25mm M6x1 socket head screws. The original screws have an E8 male Torx head, but you won't find one at a hardware store.

Pros
  • Speed Sensors
Cons
  • Very expensive
