Review on 🔌 Efficient Drive Performance: Motorcraft JK81223AA V-Ribbed Belt for Optimal Power Transmission by Steven Stager

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Poor quality control, belt wasn't straight.

Nothing justifies the poor workmanship of this belt at this price. The stitching at the junction of the two ends of the strap was misaligned and the strap just couldn't move straight and properly. Reciprocating movement of the pulleys, increasing wear and stress on the various bearings. After finally realizing that this belt was bad, I put the old Dayco belt back on and the squeaking and chirping stopped. I kept the Ford belt as a spare. Now, 6,000 miles later, this (Dayco) belt started chirping because a faulty Motorcraft tensioner (with only 6,000 miles on it) started failing. I am very disappointed with the lack of precision and quality control on these Motorcraft parts. Next time I will try Gates. but they also had quality control issues.
