I've been wearing original Merrell Jungle Moc shoes for many years and I'm thrilled. They are so easy to put on and take off, fit great and offer good support. This redesigned shoe is a combination of the Jungle Moc above and sneakers below. The result is a shoe that offers the great fit, comfort, and easy on and off of the Jungle Moc, combined with the good walk/stand cushioning of a premium running shoe. 6-8 miles a day on sidewalks, floors, pavement and gravel (my typical day is about a 1 mile walk outdoors) and my legs never got tired! That included a 12-hour day at the theme park with lots of queues. I was amazed. I'm pretty sure my feet would complain about the pavement any day if I was bored with my regular Jungle Mocs. These are great shoes for city walks. I would recommend it to anyone who needs a versatile and comfortable casual shoe. If you're a fan of the original Jungle Moc, this is a massive comfort upgrade and you'll never look back. That fully justifies the price difference.
