Overall I really liked the design and quality of this bag. I've used tons of bags from different brands and so far this is one of the best I've seen. However, in my opinion, the design of this version still needs some work. The quick access CC pocket is a little ridiculously large and not flimsy. Added to this is the lack of compression straps. The bag, even when empty, has a huge side profile which I think looks awkward and tends to bump things. Next comes the front flap/pocket. I think if you want to wear a helmet (but really, who would wear a helmet in their EDC? and if you wear a helmet then why buy a Vertx that doesn't have to look tactical). This bag has webbing and velcro which are worthless in and of themselves. Overall organization and pockets are a bit limited, but they offer plenty of fuzzy places to shop and add pouches, pouches, and holsters. But really if you go down that route you have to consider a whole new price point. Don't get me wrong, this is one of the highest quality bags I've considered for my EDC. The size is perfect and it doesn't look super tactical, which is a big bonus. Those few things aside, this is a great EDC bag and a great option to consider.
