Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Optimized Control Arm Bushing - MOOG K200238 by Yuri Rochelin

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A good replacement for the flexible sleeve on Honda

I ordered a pair to replace the sag bushing on my Honda Accord. That's half the cost of OEM bushings and they tend to crack over time. Mine cracked after about 8 years in the car and when I disassembled the lower arm to replace it I found that the rubber part of the old bushing had hardened over time and became so damaged as the car drove over bumps drove. The rubber on the new hub is softer and more flexible, so it won't tear away from your body when you move the control lever. In hindsight, it's probably cheaper to just replace the entire forearm, since the cost of a 12-ton hydraulic press and a press-in-and-insert ball joint kit isn't worth it if you're only going to do it once. I don't even bother with the expensive Schley 68100 disposable tool, I see it breaks easily when you try to push out the old bushing.
