Don't spend your money on it! I haven't even had this cord in a week and it's already giving me the same issues as the last aux cord I bought here. The sound quality is excellent for music. But as in the previous case, video and phone calls are not played through, only music is played. There's just no sound when trying to play a video and no way to use it on a call. Even when it's connected to a phone, it's either the main sound of the phone or the phone's speaker. Absolutely it won't play through car speakers while he's on the phone! And now it's starting not to work after using maybe 4 days. I will turn it on and it will keep playing music through my phone or there will just be no sound. I have to disconnect and reconnect multiple times and play with the cord to get it working again. It won't be long as my last one broke on the tip while it was in my phone. I had to get needle nose pliers to pry the tiny connector out of my iPhone's charging port. It just worked, and suddenly the music stopped coming out of the speakers, but it didn't come out. my phone too. only silence But the music kept playing. I had to disconnect and reconnect 10 times before it worked again. It will soon break completely. What a crap! UPDATE: Just a few days after writing this review, it broke in my phone, just like I knew it.
