Saved me a lot of money, used on a 2005 STS, shift rod (under car, from derailleur to gearbox) rattled a lot on acceleration and car had trouble starting at times. Park. You have to sand the old parts first, I used a dremel with a sander attachment under the car and I didn't have to remove the center console/switch. The new sockets are secured with a safety clip and were easy to insert. Now my shifter is tight and the rattle is gone and there is no problem getting in and out of parking spaces. Very happy!
