Good replacement for my Hunter ceiling fan switch. The original switch broke after just a few months of minimal use. Installed in ten minutes. Cut off the old switch and plug this in. The only two flaws I see: The color of the chain. I knew about this beforehand but I can shorten it and add a bronze colored chain so the brass part is hidden in the lamp area. Another disadvantage is that the thread where the chain exits is made of plastic. The existing thread adapter must be screwed onto this. The old switch was metal with metal threads. It installed well and seems solid enough. The time will show. But for the price you can't go wrong. And the switch feels better to me than the original Hunter switch before it broke.
