I really wanted to like these.

As a professional mixed media artist, I use white charcoal pencils in all of my work. I've always stuck to the same brand but tried this one as an alternative. While the pencils worked well out of the case, I had many issues with them breaking after sharpening. Charcoal tips not only kept breaking in my sharpeners (and I tried three different types of sharpeners), but they also shattered while I was working. I really wanted to like them but unfortunately they weren't high quality enough. Sorry but I wouldn't take it again.
