Review on ๐Ÿšด Enhance Cycling Performance with SHIMANO SPD-SL Cleat Set by Ray Welchhance

Revainrating 5 out of 5

These are higher quality boots!

There are two types of SPD-SL cleats and one of them has been unofficially withdrawn so I can't believe they are still on the market. IT'S GOOD! They work very well and although ALL the cleats wear out over time they seem to be very durable until the end. The last pair I bought lasted me all season. It took me close to 2000 miles and a lot of running to wear them down! The spikes come with all the necessary washers and screws to fit directly into SPD-SL compatible shoes. Just make sure you do your research and line them up correctly or you're going to get foot problems. The pressure when pedaling should be on the balls of your feet! Oh yeah, and also check the tightness of the screws from time to time, otherwise you may lose some of them. 6 DEGREE FLOAT is essentially a design feature that allows your feet to rotate sideways easily even when standing securely. inch This helps keep your feet/ankles/legs in a more comfortable position while riding by keeping your feet on the pedal. Unless you are a pro I would recommend these boots to those who do not have 6D FLOAT simply for the comfort factor. Although they are buoyant they still keep your feet secure and I am very happy with them. FYI: Good lugs have a longer yellow leading edge and the area between the two rear stud cutouts is smooth. The bad ones have a head start between the notches. Be careful, don't take the bad ones!
