Just buy it! on slipcovers and mattress covers
When I took this out of the box I thought it was cheap and wouldn't work. But the other day we spilled a whole can of Sprite on the bed and not a drop fell on the mattress! No weird spots - nothing! It saved us so much money! According to the packaging, it sounds loud, but very quiet when you put a regular sheet on it. It doesn't feel plasticky either, but maybe that's why we sleep a little warm. Worth it so you don't ruin your $500-$1000 mattress. Just buy it!
