I bought this hair dryer in September 2018 (had to check!) and today August 1st 2020 it officially died. Couldn't reset it, tried different outlets, nothing. He's dead. It actually took almost two years, maybe less because I didn't straighten my hair during the pandemic, so maybe a little over a year and a half. For the $147 I paid for it it should have lasted MUCH longer than 1.5 years and to be honest it wasn't anything special. I wish I'd just stuck with the old reliable Revlon or something, it sucked.
