This hair dryer has so much power that my super curly hair is dry and straight in less than 5 minutes. I still have to smooth out a few strands, but not as much as after blow-drying with my cheap blow-dryer. There are power and heat controls, but I leave both on full power to keep my hair as straight as possible. My only regret about this dryer is that I didn't get it sooner!

Wow what can I say other than sorry I didn't buy one of these hair dryers sooner! It's worth the price in my book. It's lightweight, very powerful at peak power, and maintains good, evenly powerful heat. The cool mode is really cool, unlike the cheaper hair dryers I've had. As a professional stylist, my wife had high hopes for this dryer and to be honest she was very disappointed! It burned out last week, started smoking in my wife's cabin and the sparks came out just awful. I will not buy it again. I want my money back. Haven't contacted the seller yet but so far a big disappointment. I bought this hair dryer in September 2018 (had to check!) and today August 1st 2020 it officially died. Couldn't reset it, tried different outlets, nothing. He's dead. It actually took almost two years, maybe less because I didn't straighten my hair during the pandemic, so maybe a little over a year and a half. I have this 2017 hair dryer and for the most part am happy with it. Until yesterday when I almost burned myself unplugging and noticed that a black piece of plastic broke off a plug exposing a screw. Very expensive hair dryer and I don't think it can be repaired as the fork seems quite complicated. I do not recommend.

I like this one. This is the best hair dryer I've had in a long time. It gets nice and hot and dries my hair quickly. It's bulky for travel but great for your home. I don't usually bring a hair dryer because most condos or hotels have hair dryers. So for me it wasn't a problem. It's not difficult, but it's not easy either. I think that's the weight a hair dryer should be. I am very happy with my purchase.
